Privacy and personal data processing policy

Effective 25 August 2026

1. General provisions

This Policy explains how personal data relating to visitors of matveyshemyakin.ru may be processed and protected. The Russian version governs compliance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data.

The data operator is Matvey Yuryevich Shemyakin, acting as an individual. Privacy-related requests may be sent through Telegram: @ShemMYu.

2. Data that may be processed

The professional collaboration form is not intended for submitting medical records or health information. Users should not submit diagnoses, extracts, test results, photographs, treatment information, patient-identifiable data or other special-category data through the form or Telegram.

3. Purposes

4. Legal grounds

Processing may be based on consent, the need to provide and secure the website, the Operator’s legitimate interests in information security, and applicable legal requirements. Preparing a professional enquiry through the form requires the visitor to confirm consent to processing the information entered. Optional analytics should not start before separate consent is obtained.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies and local storage may be used to remember preferences and support website operation. Visitors may allow optional analytics or choose “Essential only”. The choice can be changed through “Cookie settings” in the website footer.

Where an analytics service is enabled, information may also be processed by that provider under its own terms. The Operator should configure analytics to minimise the amount of data collected and to comply with applicable requirements.

6. Form, email and external services

The form on the Professional Collaboration page does not send the enquiry content to the website server and does not create a separate database of form submissions. After completion, the browser prepares an email and offers to open Gmail or the email application configured on the visitor’s device. The message is actually sent only after the visitor acts in the chosen email service, and further processing is governed by that service’s rules.

When a visitor follows a Telegram link, they leave this website. Further processing is also governed by Telegram’s own terms and privacy rules. Medical advice, diagnosis and treatment are not provided through this website or Telegram.

7. Disclosure and retention

Data may be accessible to hosting providers, technical contractors and services supporting the website, only to the extent required for the relevant purpose. Disclosure to public authorities may occur where required by law.

If the visitor sends the prepared email through their email service, the information is delivered to the Operator’s email system and may be retained there for as long as necessary to review the enquiry, conduct professional correspondence and meet applicable legal obligations. It should then be deleted or anonymised unless another lawful basis requires continued retention.

8. User rights

Users may request information about processing, correction, restriction or deletion of their data and may withdraw consent. Requests can be sent through the contact above. The Operator may request information reasonably necessary to verify the requester’s identity.

9. Security

The Operator takes appropriate legal, organisational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction and other unlawful actions. The form page uses HTTPS, validates required fields in the browser and does not store the prepared message in a separate website database.

10. Changes

This Policy may be updated when the website, connected services or applicable requirements change. The current version is available at https://matveyshemyakin.ru/en/privacy.html.
